A Paw Patrol Christmas (0.33) proved to be an Adults 18-49 ratings winner for CBS, even if total viewership was on the softer side. ABC topped the night with its college football broadcast (2.91), while NBC's game (0.46) paled in comparison. Fox went even lower with college basketball (0.15). Wednesday TV Ratings 12/18/24: Survivor Jumps to Season High for Finale, SNL Christmas Solid, Jingle Ball Passable [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: CBS's Survivor (0.80, +0.12) jumped to a new season high on finale night, making it the top-rated program of the evening by far. On Fox, The Masked Singer (0.36, -0.04) dropped for its finale, but The Floor (0.35, +0.03) was up for its season closer. The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball (0.28) was a passable performer on ABC but lost to NBC's Saturday Night Live Christmas Special (0.33). Inside the NFL (0.04, +0.01) inched up on the CW but trailed Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer (0.07). Friday TV Ratings 11/29/24: Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer Solid for CW, Deck the Walls Strong, Georgia Tech/Georgia College Football Game Tops the Night [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: On the CW, Christmas special Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (0.07) performed well by the network's standards and led into the premiere of Children Ruin Everything (0.05/0.05). ABC's Georgia Tech/Georgia college football game (1.87) was the top program of the night. The Alphabet network ultimately beat the combined total of the NBC (0.73) and Fox (0.22) games in the Adults 18-49 demographic. On CBS, the special Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy (0.19) was sandwiched in-between reruns of the long-running drama (0.17/0.15). Key: (P) = premiere. (R) = repeat.

Friday TV Ratings 11/24/23: Texas Tech/Texas College Football Game Takes Second as Oregon State/Oregon Game Leads, Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer Solid (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Fox's broadcast of the Oregon State v. Oregon college football game (0.99) easily topped the night and was just a hundredth away from the elusive 1.00. In the 8 p.m. hour, BMW Ultimate Update (0.36) placed third in its time slot. ABC put up quite a fight with its Texas Tech v. Texas game (0.83) but fell short of Fox's. NBC had a solid Penn State v. Michigan State game (0.61) but was below the other college football broadcasts. On CBS, The Greatest @Home Videos (0.21) appeared to underwhelm but was on-par with its last episode from June (0.21). Reruns of Raid the Cage (0.16) and Blue Bloods (0.16) followed. Over on the CW, Christmas special Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer (0.08) was actually up from 2022's broadcast (0.06). FBoy Island (0.04, 0.00) tied last week's installment. 

Finals Update: College Football: TX Tech v. TX (+0.1), College Football: Penn St. v. MI St. (+0.2), College Football: OR St. v. OR (+0.4), and repeats of Raid the Cage (+0.1) and Blue Bloods (+0.1) adjusted up.
