It was a big week on streaming, as the fall season begins to ramp up, and broadcast and streaming hits return for new seasons. Keep reading to see the top shows on Hulu, Disney+, Paramount+, Peacock, HBO Max, Apple TV, Prime Video, and Netflix this week!
Hulu:
It was a big week for unscripted on Hulu, as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives spent four more days at #1, followed by the much-hyped return of viral hit Dancing with the Stars, which had a two-night premiere and three days at #1 this week. The show has only grown in popularity after being off the air for roughly ten months, with this premiere week coming in noticeably stronger than last season's, when it peaked at #2 and was down to #4 by Saturday. Fellow ABC premiere RJ Decker peaked at #4 on the chart. While better than most of last season's performances, it's notable that this is the least scripted competition it'll ever have, as it was the first scripted broadcast series to return this season. 20/20 also spent four days on the chart. General Hospital was the only other ABC series to chart this week, peaking at #2 and charting all week. Fox's American Dad! had a respectable showing after a random Sunday night airing, charting five days and peaking at #9. The Floor peaked higher at #4, but charted just two days. Kitchen Nightmares was impacted by the increased competition, ending its season with a #6 peak. MasterChef fared better, reaching its usual #4 peak. Name That Tune did not chart. Hulu's Futurama had a horrendous week, charting just two days despite a #5 peak. Furious and Chad Powers remained in the top ten all week. FX's The Drop has really impressed in its second week, not dropping below #3 again this week. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia peaked at #4 and charted six days. The Shards left the top fifteen after six more appearances this week. Freeform's Project Runway charted four days and peaked at #3. On the film chart, Coraline was #1 for four days, Save the Last Dance was #1 for two days - likely boosted by star Julia Stiles' current stint on Dancing with the Stars - and Hypnotic was #1 for a single day.

Disney+:
The Drop surely didn't live up to its name this week, as the series remained rock steady on Disney+ all week, ranking #1 from beginning to end. It's an astonishing debut amid strong competition from Hulu and ABC originals, and it's the strongest week for an FX show in the history of the Disney+ top ten chart. Dancing with the Stars had a decent debut, starting out at #6 and rising to #3 the next day before sliding to #10 after that. RJ Decker was more stable, debuting straight at #2 and staying there for three days and counting. It's a stark contrast to the shows' Hulu performances. Chad Powers started the week with four days at #2, declining a bit after that and ending the week at #4. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was not quite as stable. It started out at #3, and dropped to #6 by the end of the week. Furious spent another full week in the top ten, as did welcome to the Family and Adults. On the film chart, The Mandalorian and Grogu spent six days at #1, briefly being interrupted by Toy Story.

Peacock:
After a strong return, The Paper crumbled pretty quickly. It spent another three days at #1 to start this week, but dropped after that, ending the week at #5. It was a Bravo series that initially took it out of the #1 spot, with Below Deck Mediterranean hitting #1 on Wednesday. Real Housewives of New York City would reach #1 for the first time this season after that, with the premiere of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City hitting #1 the next day. The Traitors: New Blood had a successful launch on NBC, with a #3 debut after only a few hours of tracking, which would improve to #1 the next day. It's been a pretty quiet summer for NBC on Peacock, meaning this is the first NBC series to reach the #1 position since their regular season programming went off the air in May. America's Got Talent charted within thew top twenty all week, with a #10 peak - lower than we're used to seeing, but probably to be expected, given the competition. Dateline NBC also charted all week, with five of those days being in the top ten. Password made a single appearance on the chart, all the way down at #20. The Emmy Awards charted two days. Bravo had several other entries on the chart this week besides their three #1 shows, with Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip spending two days at #2, Next Gen NYC peaking at #4, and Watch What Happens Live charting five days, all outside the top ten. On the film chart, it was a week without any dominant entry, as United 93, Home, and Trolls Band Together each spent a single day at #1 and Twilight and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie both spent two days at the top.

Paramount+:
Lioness has been dominant for much of its third season, but it may be going out like a lamb, as it faces mighty competition in the returning South Park (or "South America"). Lioness spent five days at #1, but none of those days came after South Park's premiere had a full 24 hours of availability on streaming, with the long-running cartoon spending the last two days of the week at #1. South Park was not the only major entry on Paramount+ this week, as MobLand returned for season two, after a tumultuous production on season two, with star Tom Hardy rumored to be leaving the series before confirmation that he would, indeed, remain for the already-ordered third season. It returned at #3 and stayed there the next day. Route 187, a BET-produced miniseries from Tyler Perry Studios, debuted at #8 and rose to #6 the next day. Colin from Accounts was a less prominent new entry, peaking at #7 and charting only a single day as the final season of the Aussie comedy hit streaming in the US. Big Brother, the only entry of note on CBS all summer, is nearing its end, and the increased competition has impacted its chart performance. It peaked at #2 on Monday, but was noticeably weaker at the end of the week, down to #8 by Saturday and slipping to #10 mid-week. The Challenge charted six days this week, peaking at #4. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds had its worst showing of the season, charting just one day at #7.
NCIS and Everybody Loves Raymond stayed on the chart all week, while Blue Bloods charted only once. On the film chart, Passenger and the extended cut of Scary Movie 2026 both spent a day at #1 at the start of the week, with five straight days at #1 for The Get Out.

HBO Max:
Lanterns continues to crush the competition, as the superhero drama spent another seven days at #1, still not leaving the top spot since its debut. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe remained a respectable runner-up, with four days at #2, dipping as low as #5. Real Time with Bill Maher charted three days and peaked at #3. HBO's A Killer Story charted within the top five all week. President Curtis also charted all week and peaked at #3. Conan O'Brien Must Go charted another two days before leaving the top ten. The Howard Stern Show made its well-publicized HBO Max debut, charting two days so far and peaking at #6. Food Network brought back Halloween programming with Halloween Wars and Halloween Baking Championship both hitting the top ten. Halloween Wars spent one day there, while Halloween Baking Championship charted three days. TLC's 90 Day Fiance series remained very strong, both peaking at #2, as did fellow TLC series 1000-Lb. Series. On the film chart, Supergirl was #1 all week.

Apple TV
Ted Lasso remains #1 on Apple TV, but there were some major shakeups just behind it this week. After a historical Emmy's sweep, Matthew Rhys horror-comedy Widow's Bay jumped to a #2 peak, but it "slowed" down a bit the next day, as another of this year's Emmy winners, Slow Horses, returned for its sixth season. No Apple show has ever run for as many seasons as Slow Horses, which is now on its sixth six-episode cycle, with at least two more on the way. The show peaked at #2 this week. The surge for Widow's Bay and return of Slow Horses meant a decline for Silo, which was down to #5 by the end of the week. It's understandable, of course - it last aired nearly two weeks ago - but still a notable development. Dark Matter was down to #6 at its worst point, but it was able to regain some ground and hit #4 on the chart. Last Seen couldn't keep up with the new competition, starting the week at #4 and ending it at #6, a marked decline from where it started last week. Widow's Bay wasn't the only Emmy winner returning to the chart - Pluribus also cracked the top ten after Rhea Seehorn and Vince Gilligan took home major trophies for their work on the series, peaking at #7. Emmy losers Shrinking and Your Friends & Neighbors both clung to the chart all week, as did Lucky, while Trying left the top ten. Mayday was #1 all week on the TV chart.

Reacher closed out its fourth season this week, but fans of the franchise were immediately treated to a new spinoff, Neagley. It picked up where Reacher left off, knocking its parent show off the top spot and staying there the next day. Competition was otherwise minimal, with The Pendragon Cycle being the closest competition of the series. Sterling Point spent the week at #3 and #4, Off Campus was rock steady at #5, andThe Grand Tour was steady at #4 in the first half of the week, before it dropped as low as #8 art the end of the week. Blue Ridge: The Series, El Juicio, and Judy Justice were other highlights on the chart, while Ride or Die spent its final days on the chart this week, as it was canceled just today despite a strong showing on the top ten chart since its debut. On the film chart, Drawn Together was #1 until Saturday, when it lost its spot to You + Me Against the World.

Netflix:
It was a week of tumult on Netflix, as four series reached #1 on the chart. One show, however, stood above the rest, as Ryan Murphy's controversial Monster series returned with a new season chronicling the infamous alleged 1890s murderer, Lizzie Borden. The show debuted right on top. Crew Girl had a strong second week after debuting at #2 last week, spending three days at #1. Death of the Pastor's Wife departed the #1 spot and dropped pretty quickly from there, ending the week at #6. WWE Raw also spent a day at #1. The Gentlemen has been fairly stable, starting the week at #4, dropping to #7 mid-week, and remaining in that range for the rest of the week. The Perfect Lie had another solid week, charting between #3 and #5 all week. Beauty in Black charted five days before leaving the top ten. Earle Meets World also left the top ten after a fairly short top ten run. On the film chart, Why Did I Get Married Again? spent four days at #1, followed by three days at #1 for The Seemingly Perfect Family.
