At nine, Tracker (0.47, -0.04) was down slightly in its return, but Watson (0.26, +0.12) jumped to a new season high at ten. In animation news, Fox's Family Guy (0.24, 0.00) was steady at eight, and Basic Guys (0.16, +0.03) rose. But things soured from there as American Dad! (0.15, -0.06) lost a big chunk of last week's premiere rating, which did not help matters for the 9:30 Family Guy (0.18, -0.06). On ABC, America's Funniest Home Videos (0.42) beat time slot competitor 60 Minutes (0.37). NBA on NBC (0.56) placed second in the 8 p.m. hour. The CW's broadcast of the MGM Slam (0.01) made no noise.
