Ratings Analysis: ABC made the decision to swap two of their game shows and the result was a clear mixed bag. 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.45, +0.08) was upgraded to the 9PM slot and posted a new season high in the process, retaining a solid 80% of its rising 'Celebrity Family Feud' lead-in (0.56, +0.06). The downside to this tradeoff was that 'The Final Straw' (0.26, -0.13) crashed to a new series low for its first 10PM episode, going well below 'Feud', 'Pyramid', and the 7PM rerun of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.39). Despite '60 Minutes' (0.38) losing five-hundredths, CBS's 'Big Brother' (0.83, +0.15) climbed to its highest rating of 2022. Reruns of 'The Equalizer' (0.20) and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.20) were modest at best in the back-half of the evening. 'Who Do You Think You Are?' (0.21, +0.01) got back a hundredth on NBC and led into repeats of 'Weakest Link' (0.21) and 'America's Got Talent' (0.24). Fox was down across the board with encores of 'Beat Shazam' (0.09), 'The Simpsons' (0.14), 'The Great North' (0.09), 'Bob's Burgers' (0.13), and 'Family Guy' (0.16). 'Riverdale' (0.04, 0.00) held steady with last week for its finale on the CW and was followed by a rerun of 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.03).
Finals Update: 'Celebrity Family Feud' (+0.1) adjusted up, as did repeats of '60 Minutes' (+0.1) and 'Family Guy' (+0.1).
