The CW is turning off the lights of In the Dark. The network has canceled its crime drama after four seasons, despite not even premiering its fourth season for another month. The news comes amid a bloodbath at The CW, which has canceled eight of its scripted series so far this season, with six of those cancellations being announced just today. In The Dark has historically been one of the lowest-rated series on The CW, with only a 0.06 average for the show in its third season last summer. Perry Mattfeld, Brooke Markham, Casey Deidrick, Keston John and Matt Murray star in the series, which will wrap its run later this summer after 52 episodes.
