DREW
That actually sounds like a good idea. It already has an audience.
CHRIS
We just have to figure out what the show would be.
JULIAN
Can it be something similar to the challenge that went viral on Tac Toe? Every week, a group of people are forced to watch something painfully stupid. The last person to shut it off wins.
DREW
Sounds weird.
JULIAN
We’re not going to get on TV with a boring idea.
CHRIS
Let’s pitch it.
DREW
How do we do that?
CHRIS
I don’t know.
JULIAN
I do. BRO is having a competition.
CHRIS
BRO? You sure that’s a real channel?
JULIAN
Yeah, it’s just the first three letters of broadcast. Confusing since it isn’t a broadcast network, but I guess it works.
DREW
Does anyone even watch that network?
JULIAN
0.02 percent of adults aged 18 to 49 watch their biggest show!
CHRIS
Oh wow, that really is quite the audience size.
JULIAN
Well I don’t think that’s their main metric. It’s a pretty big show with teens.
CHRIS
Let’s give it a try.
JULIAN
And the best part about it is we can just submit it online.
CHRIS
Let’s make a video then. What should we pick as the challenge?
DREW
I have an idea.
JULIAN
Say it.
DREW
We watch that show we all hate.
CHRIS
Which one?
DREW
The so-called comedy where this big family gets together for family reunions.
CHRIS
Oof, that’ll be quite the challenge. Let’s try it.
CHRIS, JULIAN, and DREW film themselves streaming the show from the pilot episode, all cringing. Eventually, they make it to the fourth episode.
JULIAN
Shut this off you idiot!
JULIAN exits the room. By the sixth episode CHRIS has had enough.
CHRIS
Shut this off you idiot!
DREW
I win!
CHRIS
OK, do we have the footage we need?
DREW
I’d say so.
CHRIS calls for JULIAN to come back.
CHRIS
We’re done, Julian.
JULIAN
Ready to submit?
CHRIS
As ready as I’ll ever be.
JULIAN

JULIAN uploads the footage and submits it to the contest.
JULIAN

DREW
