NBC Renews Entire Chicago Wednesday Lineup

NBC has renewed all three shows in its "Chicago Wednesday" lineup. Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD will all be back next season after a season of strong ratings for all three. The network took a risk this year by putting all of the shows on one night, which had never been done before. The move worked out well, and Dick Wolf's venerable franchise has only gotten more valuable. The shows have reached new heights in viewership, and Chicago Fire has seen a more than 10% increase from last season in the 18-49 demo. Chicago Med and PD have also been very close to last season's numbers. The franchise is one of three planned Dick Wolf franchises to air next season, alongside the planned FBI franchise over on CBS and NBC's Law & Order franchise, which is set to expand back to two shows next year, should SVU get a record-breaking 21st season.
