Wednesday was a night of returns for a few shows and a night of hiatus for a few others. CBS returned its drama SEAL Team at a 1.0, down a tenth. This was behind a 1.2 from The Amazing Race, three tenths lower than the last time it led into SEAL Team but steady with last week's two-hour episode. At 10, Criminal Minds gained a tenth after going fractional. NBC also brought its shows back. Those shows were met mostly with declines. Chicago PD was hit hardest by declines, down two tenths to 1.2. Ahead of PD at 9 PM, SVU took a one-tenth hit to 1.3. The Blacklist remained steady at 1.1, putting it ahead of its comparable episode from season 4 by about 20%. ABC had repeats of its comedies, with an impressive performance by the repeat of The Goldbergs and decent results from the other comedies. At 10, Match Game ticked down to 0.7. The show isn't doing impressively but it's still decent filler considering the ratings Designated Survivor has delivered this season. Fox had another episode of the year's breakout hit 9-1-1, which was steady at 1.6. At 8, The X-Files continued to perform in a way that can only be described as "yikes," down into fractionland for the first time in its 10 season history. The CW continued to perform at the status quo.
Finals Update: The Amazing Race (+0.1) and the Speechless repeat (+0.1) adjusted up. Law & Order SVU (-0.1) and The Blacklist (-0.1) adjusted down.
