For the Rio Olympics (8.6), day 3 saw some minor slippage down half a rating's point from yesterday, but
it remained above the opening ceremony, so it still had a respectable performance. On ABC, Bachelor In
Paradise (1.4) dared to counter NBC and managed to come out victorious tying it's Tuesday premiere, but
Mistressess (0.5) wasn't so lucky down a tenth from last week and easily reaching the pull-me-now threshold, this is a situation where game show or even comedy repeats would be doing much better. The
rest of the networks were on repeats, CBS had Mom (0.6), 2 Broke Girls (0.6), Mom (0.7), The Odd
Couple (0.6), and Scorpion (0.5). FOX had So You Think You Can Dance (0.4). And the CW had
Supergirl (0.3/0.3).
