Hey guys, this is Luke, and it's time for my return to the TV Ratings Guide! For my first post of the 2016-17 season, I will be acting as your social media correspondent. The number of "likes" a show has on Facebook isn't always directly related to how successful that new show will become in the fall. However, it is definitely a good indicator of how much "hype" a new show has, which can sometimes make it easier to predict a show's success. Here is a list of new shows, ranked by their number of Facebook likes.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to start off this article by introducing myself. My name is Luke Lambright and I am the newest contributor to The TV Ratings Guide! As the theratingsjunkie said in his article, "List of New Shows by Their Twitter Followers," the amount of Twitter followers aren't always directly coordinated to how popular a show will become. However, it is a good indication of how a show will do in the younger A 18-34 demographic. Facebook, on the other hand, might give us a better indication of how a show will do in the A 18-49 demographic since its users tend to be, on average, slightly older than the users of Twitter. I thought it would be fun to see if I could find any differences between the amount of Twitter Followers and the amount of Facebook Likes each new show has.
