Blindspot Renewed By NBC

NBC

Looks like NBC will have a spot on the schedule for their sophomore drama after all. Blindspot has been renewed for a third season by the network. After posting strong ratings in its first season, the series fell over 40%, averaging just a 1.0 this season. That ended up being enough for NBC to invest in another season. Blindspot stars Jaimie Alexander who plays Alice in the series. Other individuals in the cast include Sullivan Stapleton, Rob Brown, and Audrey Esparza. Blindspot was created by Martin Gero and is distributed by Warner Bros. Television.

Blindspot Renewed by NBC

NBC

It's only November, but NBC has already handed out a renewal to Blindspot, per TVLine. The show is currently averaging a 2.4 A18-49 demo rating, which places it considerably ahead of its projected strength based on ad rates. The show has clearly done well following The Voice--the question is if NBC keeps it there or risks having another situation like The Blacklist.
