There's no emergency for 9-1-1 - ABC has renewed the first responder drama for an eighth season, just three episodes into its seventh season. It's the first season of the series to air on ABC, which rescued the series - which is owned by parent company Disney - after it was canceled by Fox. The series currently rates as ABC's #1 scripted series with an excellent 0.56 average, down just 7% from its sixth season average on Fox. 9-1-1 has always been among broadcast's highest-rated shows since its debut, and also boasts a strong streaming performance, with its season seven premiere drawing over 10 million viewers and a 2.26 18-49 demo rating in MP+7 metric, improving on previous time slot occupant Station 19's year-ago performances. Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kenneth Choi are mong the stars of the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
