While FOX News is still clearly the dominant network in the ratings, it did not match last week's accomplishment of beating everything on CNN and MSNBC. Thursday's edition of CNN Tonight with Don Lemon jumped to a 0.47 in the coveted A25-54 demo, beating every Ingraham Angle, and even one Hannity. This is a stark contrast to the airings earlier in the week, which were toward the bottom of the pack for CNN. Rachel Maddow and Chris Cuomo's shows also rated higher than Tuesday's episode of The Ingraham Angle.

MSNBC and FOX News also had a nice Thursday night, with all shows except The Ingraham Angle rising roughly a ratings tenth or more. Hannity came close to taking the top spot of the week away from Tucker Carlson Tonight.

Anderson Cooper 360 did not air on Thursday, so it is uncertain if it would have seen a ratings bump like CNN Tonight, or stayed mostly steady like Cuomo Prime Time.

While Friday ratings are not included in the above table due to oftentimes being marked as specials and being significantly lower-rated, it is notable that CNN saw a huge spike on Friday, May 27 for their coverage of the protests. CNN Tonight topped the entire night on both broadcast and cable, hitting a 1.21 in the 10pm hour in the key A25-54 demo, and a 0.88 in A18-49. The two hours of the Don Lemon-hosted show, combined with two hours of Chris Cuomo and one of Anderson Cooper, were the top 5 highest-rated hours on cable. With FOX News behind and MSNBC well behind, it seems CNN is the network most people like to turn to for this. Full Friday ratings are:
