ABC's The Goldbergs saw what was arguably the most impressive bump, up three tenths from its last result and hitting a new season high. Behind it, spinoff Schooled gained two tenths with a 0.8, a number that's not very impressive but still better than its previous results. At 9, Modern Family also rose two tenths to 0.9, one of its lowest results of the season aside from the 0.7 it received most recently. At 9:30, American Housewife returned to Wednesdays after starting the season on Friday, gaining only a tenth and notching a rating just barely ahead of its season average. 10 PM show Stumptown rose from its recent 0.4s to a 0.5.
CBS's reality stalwart Survivor gained a tenth from last week, with 1.6/1.4 halves compared to last week's 1.4/1.2 in prelims (it later adjusted up to 1.4 in finals from a 1.3 prelim). SEAL Team rose a tenth from its already above-average 0.7 last week to a 0.8. At 10, SWAT wasn't helped at remained at 0.6, still an above-average result.
Fox's The Masked Singer saw the biggest gain in raw numbers, gaining 0.3. It easily won the night with a 2.2. Last week's 1.9 was already above multiple episodes this season. With buzz around the show for its surprising celebrity reveal last week, plus its casual-viewing nature, this uptick is probably the most expected of the night, though it's still extremely impressive. Behind it, LEGO Masters rose two tenths to 1.2, the highest its gone since the premiere.
NBC's One Chicago lineup saw impressive gains across the board, with Chicago Med hitting 1.3 to kick off the night, a three tenth boost. Behind it was Chicago Fire, also with 1.3, up two tenths. Chicago PD rose two tenths at 10 with a 1.2.
The CW aired repeats all night and saw higher ratings for the pair of Whose Line? repeats at 9 than the original Nancy Drew a week ago.
Finals Update: Survivor (+0.1) adjusted up. SEAL Team (-0.1) adjusted down.
