INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY

SUPER: PREVIOUSLY ON NETWORK

Charlie then crosses her arms.

CHARLIE
And aren’t we becomers, Ash? Everyone?

MATT
That sounds like a line from a failed teen network.

Charlie then glares at Matt.

Matt sighs.

CHARLIE
Watch your mouth, Matty Boy.

LEAH
Charlie, please…

CHARLIE
I happen to know that we cater to a general audience. Our median age is in adulthood.

KASEY
Something a certain fellow refuses to go through.

Jesse glares at Kasey.

ASH
Don’t start.

EVERYONE
How dare you?

BACK TO PRESENT EPISODE.

In the conference room, Charlie then stands up.

CHARLIE
Speaking of semantics, I heard you were trying to cozy up to another coworker.

Matt looks at Charlie in surprise.

MATT
What the hell do you mean?

CHARLIE
Don’t you realize you’re married?

Kasey then stands up.

KASEY
Nothing happened.

CHARLIE
Oh really? Denial is the first step.

JESSE
Charlie! Kasey! Stop this.

LEAH
I’m out of here. I have to get back to the office. If you need me, just reach my office phone.

Leah then gets up from her seat.

She then walks out of the room.

This leaves Charlie, Matt, Ash, Jesse, and Kasey.

ASH
Meeting adjourned. Let’s all go back to the office, shall we?

Everyone leaves the conference room.

INT. BUSINESS HALLWAY - DAY

Charlie is on her way to the office. She then witnesses Kasey and Matt.

Kasey lightly touches Matt on the shoulder.

They are laughing and carrying away.

Fury rises from Charlie’s face.

She quickly heads back to her office.

INT. CHARLIE’S OFFICE - DAY

Charlie then rummages through her office.

CHARLIE
What a f****** liar! Where the hell is my baseball bat?

Charlie then finds the baseball bat hidden within her office supplies.

Charlie then smiles.

INT. BUSINESS HALLWAY - DAY

Holly is in the hallway and then notices Matt and Kasey together.

HOLLY
What are you guys doing?

Kasey stands motionless.

MATT
Work business.

HOLLY
It looks more like you two are having too much fun. Too comfortable for my liking, especially since I got a call from the president of the drama department.

KASEY
Excuse me?

Charlie then enters with her baseball bat in tow.

CHARLIE
That’s right, I told her. You, the same girl that went after her ex is the same girl laughing and being all touchy feely with her husband.

Kasey gives out a horrified look.

KASEY
I would never do such a thing. This isn’t what it looks like…

HOLLY
This isn’t what it looks like? Are you insane? You made out with Jesse after he broke up with me. And you think I’m going to let you mess around with MY husband?

Holly inches closer to Kasey.

HOLLY (CONT’D)
You got one thing coming.

MATT
Honey, don’t do this.

HOLLY
Don’t honey me, Matthew. We’ll talk about this when we get home.

CHARLIE
I’m doing that for you, Holly.

HOLLY
Wait!!!

Charlie then pushes Matt and Kasey away from each other.

Kasey then fights Charlie, fists and all.

Charlie then grabs her hair in attempts to push her away.

The room spins.

Holly then joins in to break up the fight.

Matt runs out of the scene and knocks on the door to Jesse’s office, and then Ash’s.

Jesse and Ash then run to the hallway, as Matt joins in.

JESSE
Stop it! All of you!

Ash pulls Kasey out of Charlie’s vicinity.

Matt pulls Holly out.

Charlie remains furious with her baseball bat in hand.

ASH
What is the meaning of this? Haven’t you learned to talk out your issues? You just had to use your fists and hair-pulling like a f****** soap opera?

JESSE
Matt, what did you do to cause these women to catfight?

CHARLIE
I can explain. Matt and your ex-girlfriend were in a compromising position and laughing.

MATT
Compromising...Well I’d never...

JESSE
For pete’s sake, we had an attempted Me Too moment last season. We don’t need another one.

ASH
You don’t have to announce this. It was false.

JESSE
Now can y’all just get back to work? No more of this foolishness! Matt, next time, you and Kasey need to be a little more professional.

The gang exits to their offices.

On the next Network, we’re in therapy. Sounds Whoa Folks-ish?
