Saturday TV Ratings, 5/5/18: ’SNL’ Rises with Host Donald Glover, ’NBA Playoffs’ High (UPDATED)

ABC's NBA game (1.8) easily destroyed the competition and was the top program on primetime. At 8, NBA Countdown (1.0) performed significantly better than it normally does.

CBS's 'Ransom' (0.3) held steady with its last episode. It led into a repeat of 'NCIS' (0.3) and an original '48 Hours' (0.5).

NHL Playoffs (1.2) delivered solid numbers for NBC. It led into an above-average edition of 'SNL Vintage' (0.8). At 11:30, an original SNL with host Donald Glover and musical guest Childish Gambino (1.8) rose a tenth from its last episode.

FOX had low-rated repeats of 'MasterChef Junior' (0.3/0.3).
