Taking up most of primetime last night was the first of the 2016 presidential debates. NBC came in first with their coverage earning a 5.4, followed by ABC with a 3.1 rating. Next was CBS, scoring a 2.8, and finally FOX, with a 1.8 rating.
Before the debates, Dancing with the Stars earned a 1.8, up from last week's 1.7 on ABC. On CBS, The Big Bang Theory scored a 3.5, down from last week's 3.8 in the season premiere, and it was followed by Kevin Can Wait, which was up to a 2.7 in week two, compared to a 2.6 in week one. On FOX, Gotham earned a 1.2, down from the 1.3 of the season premiere last week. On NBC, The Voice scored a 3.3, flat with last week's season premiere.
Finally, over on the CW they did not air the debate, and instead aired two reruns of Supergirl, which earned a 0.3 in both hours.
