The only scheduling change implemented this season was NBC added new soap Santa Barbara after their lineup experienced a resurgence.
Y&R rebounded and gained nearly a point, breaking apart ABC's rule over the top of the chart. CBS otherwise experienced welcome rebounds, and Capitol hit its series high this season. NBC enjoyed growth as DAYS gained two points, AW nearly rebounded a point and SFT grew a half point. SB debuted soft and showed signs of growth.
