May Mayhem Semifinals: Vote to Advance Two Shows to the Finals

Welcome back to The TV Ratings Guide's inaugural May Mayhem Tournament! This tournament started off with 32 shows that reached #1 on our What's Trending chart for the respective streaming service between January 4 and May 2, 2026. Shows are weighted based on how many days they ranked at #1, as well as the market shares for the streaming services. A total of 107 shows have spent at least one day ranking at #1 its service's What's Trending chart, with the top-weighted 32 making the May Mayhem Tournament. There are four shows remaining in this round, the winners of their respective groups. They have been re-seeded 1 through 4 accordingly for the final rounds.

Below you can find the full bracket, broken up into four groups, followed by polls where you can vote on which show should proceed to the next round. Semifinals voting will close on Saturday, May 30. Let us know which show you think will win May Mayhem in the comments!

Group B 1 seed, South Park, became the winner of Group B after holding off High Potential by a score of 47-39. With this matchup having more votes than any other, South Park led the entire round in votes, and High Potential will be eliminated with more raw votes than two shows that advanced. South Park will face off in the Semifinals against Paradise, which competed in Group C as an 8 seed. It narrowly defeated The Pitt by a score of 39-36 in a matchup that promised to be close based on previous rounds. South Park is the lone 1 seed from the Group rounds remaining in the tournament, while Paradise will remain the underdog as the only original 8 seed that advanced past the first round.

Group A's 2 seed, Invincible, had no trouble getting past Bridgerton, defeating the overall 1 seed by a score of 35-18. Bridgerton garnered less votes than any other show in the Group Finals round. Invincible will now compete against Group D's 4 seed, The Rookie, which defeated The Boys 28-24 in another matchup that was anticipated to be close.

This leaves two shows representing Hulu in the Semifinals and one each representing Paramount+ and Prime Video. Netflix and HBO Max now join Disney+, Peacock, and Apple TV as streaming services with no shows left in May Mayhem. This is despite Netflix starting with nine shows, and Paramount+ starting with just two.
