Wednesday TV Ratings 12/20/23: Survivor Steady for Finale, The Masked Singer Ends Higher, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure Rates as Top Christmas Special of the Night (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: CBS's Survivor (0.84, 0.00) ended a wildly successful season by tying its week-ago installment and topping the night with ease. On Fox, The Masked Singer (0.51, +0.12) had a pretty solid comeback for its own finale but (understandably) paled in comparison to Survivor. Animated holiday specials Olaf's Frozen Adventure (0.25) and Mickey Saves Christmas (0.20) were modest at best on ABC. Olaf was up from the last time it aired (0.19), but Mickey was a hundredth lower than its 12/10 broadcast (0.21). Later in the night, ABC dropped the animation but kept the Christmas theme with reruns of The Great Christmas Light Fight (0.21) and CMA Country Christmas (0.15). NBC re-ran A Very Barry Christmas (0.22) and Christmas at the Opry (0.20). The CW had an encore of Christmas Around the USA (0.04).
