Monday TV Ratings 12/25/23: The Grinch Respectable on Christmas, NFL Out-Rates Christmas 2022 Primetime Game (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: ABC got a massive 7.65 rating out of their Ravens v. 49ers NFL game on Christmas evening and easily topped the night. On Fox, a repeat showing of MasterChef Junior: Home for the Holidays (0.60) likely had some sort of NFL help baked into it and was the highest-rated offering outside of the alphabet network. CBS aired reruns of The Price Is Right At Night (0.41) and Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All! (0.25). NBC went with the animated edition of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! from 1966 (0.32), and the live-action adaptation from 2000 (0.38). The CW re-ran The Waltons' Homecoming (0.05).
