Below is a table of HBO Max scripted originals and their audience demand over the course of the past 30 days, per Parrot Analytics. Note that there were two major developments since our previous edition of this column: Search Party and Infinity Train were both renewed. Both of these are correct predictions. Looney Tunes Cartoons
It might be some time before there is news about Looney Tunes Cartoons. Only 21 episodes have been released, far less than the 80 episode first season order. As of now, it’s tough to see a situation in which HBO Max does not order more episodes. Sans Sesame Street, it is the platform’s most in-demand kids program, and was heavily promoted at launch. With new episodes released in January, Looney Tunes Cartoons’ multiplier rose from 5.7 in the previous edition of this column to 6.8.
Esme & Roy
Esme & Roy remains unchanged at a 0.7 multiplier. It is by no means impressive, and unlike other shows at the bottom, is not more in-demand in other countries. It certainly would be less of a shocking cancelation than Looney Tunes Cartoons would be, but the Tig n’ Seek renewal can only bode well for it.
The Fungies! and Summer Camp Island
The Tig n’ Seek renewal is also what’s keeping The Fungies! and Summer Camp Island in the renewal category despite Parrot Analytics not reporting audience demand.
