INT. BUSINESS HALLWAY - DAY
Previously on Network, the gang deals with a contagious virus.
CHARLIE (CONT’D)
I see the disposable cups.
JESSE
You guessed that right. Regular cups are suspended.
CHARLIE
And we’re literally six feet apart.
ASH
Good old social distancing.
The gang then makes a decision.
ASH
Okay, now that we’ve all agreed, we’re going to work from home for the next two weeks. We’re going to get through this.
Ash then hangs up the phone.
Jesse turns to Charlie.
JESSE
Social distancing, y’all.
CHARLIE
Yeah yeah.
Charlie rolls her eyes.
BACK TO PRESENT EPISODE.
SUPER: HOURS LATER
INT. ASH’S LIVING ROOM - EVENING
We are in Ash’s house. Specifically Ash and Leah’s house.
Ash is in the living room.
Suddenly he hears the door open from the bathroom upstairs.
Startled, he rushes up the stairs.
INT. BATHROOM - EVENING
Here, Leah is violently throwing up in the toilet when Ash finds her.
ASH
Oh my God! Sweetie, are you okay?
LEAH
Must be the chicken.
She takes a deep breath.
LEAH (CONT'D)
I can breathe fine. Don’t worry.
ASH
Could it be?
LEAH
If I were pregnant, I’d know.
Ash then picks Leah up.
SUPER: AN HOUR LATER…
INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT
Leah wakes up.
She puts her arms together, to signal a chill.
LEAH
Ash!!!! I’m getting cold.
ASH (O.S.)
Coming!
The door swings open, thirty seconds later, to reveal Ash with a thermometer on hand.
ASH
I have a thermometer.
LEAH
Seriously?
Ash then puts the thermometer near her underarm.
Ash then raises his eyebrows in panic.
ASH
I’m taking you to the hospital. You have a fever.
LEAH
What?
ASH
Because of the pandemic, I need you to be safe rather than sorry.
Leah throws her hands up.
They go downstairs.
SUPER: THE NEXT DAY
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - DAY
Overnight, Leah stayed in the hospital in quarantine.
The phone rings.
LEAH
What’s going on here?
INTERCUT - LIVING ROOM/HOSPITAL ROOM
ASH
Leah, you were tested for the flu. Although you got tested for COVID-19.
LEAH
Looks like I also got a urine test.
ASH
I can’t wait until this is all over.
Both laugh.
