The team at the BAU will get to end their adventures on their own terms. Despite declining ratings this season, CBS has granted a final, ten-episode season to the long-running crime drama. While the show has been on the bubble in recent years, it won't be getting the ax abruptly like previous long-running CBS dramas. It'll be the second long-running veteran to depart the Eye Network in as many seasons, following The Big Bang Theory, which will wrap later this year. Criminal Minds features a large cast including original cast members Matthew Gray Gubler, AJ Cook, and Kirsten Vangsness, as well as longtime cast members Joe Mantegna and Paget Brewster, among others.
