Nicolas Cage's adventures as Spider-Noir have come to an end. The noir-themed superhero series, which debuted back in May on MGM+ and was released on Prime Video two days later, has been canceled after a single season. While the series was acclaimed and drew a sizable audience on Prime (topping their top 10 chart after release), it paled in comparison to other Prime Video series like Off Campus and Sterling Point, and it lasted far shorter on their top ten chart than those series, suggesting its strong word-of-mouth didn't help draw in viewers. Aside from Cage, the series starred Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Brendan Gleeson, and Jack Huston. Despite the series' relative lack of success, Prime Video has indicated a desire to continue their partnership with Sony and their Marvel properties.
