Doc Renewed for Season 3

Fox's renewals continue, as they have now announced the medical drama Doc will be back for a third season on the network. In addition to the renewal, they've also announced it will be a full twenty-two episodes, an increasingly rare phenomenon for a TV series in recent seasons. While not a massive hit in linear ratings, with a 0.22 season average in the key 18-49 demographic, the show is a streaming hit for Fox, with 7.4 million viewers in multiplatform ratings - the largest audience of any Fox series this season. The series has also secured a Netflix deal, with season one already available to stream on the service. It joins its lead-in, fellow medical drama Best Medicine, on next season's schedule, with Animal Control and the network's animated comedies also confirmed to be returning. Doc stars Molly Parker, Omar Metwally, Jon Ecker, Amirah Vann, and Felicity Huffman, and is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
