Preliminary Analysis: On a fairly quiet Thursday evening, a two-hour episode of 'Big Brother' (1.1) matched what it garnered a week prior and lead the pack once again. 10pm lead-out 'Star Trek: Discovery' (0.3) only managed to rise a tenth from last week's feeble start, losing more than 70% of its lead-in in the process. Over on ABC, 'Celebrity Family Feud' (0.8) and 'Press Your Luck' (0.7) gained one-tenth apiece while 'Match Game' (0.5) remained frozen at its low-point.
NBC aired an original episode of 'The Wall' (0.4) that shed three-tenths from the last time it was on (6/29/20). 'Dateline' (0.5) improved a bit from there. Fox had a repeat of 'The Masked Singer' (0.5) and election-themed puppet show 'Let's Be Real' (0.5). The latter actually managed to outperform what 'Cosmos', 'Filthy Rich', and 'LA's Finest' did this week. A repeat of 'Family Guy' (0.4) capped off Fox's evening. The CW was steady with 'Mysteries Decoded' (0.1) and a 'Penn & Teller' encore (0.1).
Finals Update: On CBS, 'Big Brother' (1.2, +0.1) adjusted up alongside 'The Wall' (0.5, +0.1) on NBC. ABC's 'Press Your Luck' (0.6, -0.1) and 'Match Game' (0.4, -0.1) both adjusted down. Fox's entire lineup of 'Masked Singer' repeat (0.4, -0.1), 'Let's Be Real' (0.4, -0.1), and 'Family Guy' repeat (0.2, -0.2) adjusted down.
