"Boca Raton"

EXT. BOCA RATON - DAY
A guard stands guard on top of the large wooden gates of Boca Raton. The sound of a car alerts him. A truck appears at the gate. Frank sticks his head out.
FRANK
We need to see the Mayor!
The guard signals for the gate to be opened. The gate opens and the truck drives in. Boca Raton has a colonial feel. Horses pull broken down cars. It is a strong contrast to Miami but it is still home for those that live there. The town is surrounded by a large wooden wall. Citizens patrol the wall with rifles.
The car stops in front of a building. An older man walks out of the building. It is MAYOR JANSON.
MAYOR JANSON
What’s going on?
FRANK
We need to talk. Now.
INT. BOCA RATON COMMAND CENTER - DAY
Frank, Dion, and RJ enter the command center with Mayor Janson. The command center is a renovated hotel. Specifically the ballroom. It has less tech than Miami. There are still computers but not as much as Miami. On the wall, is the Florida flag and the American flag. Mayor Janson listens to the distress signals.
MAYOR JANSON
How many cities?
FRANK
Five.
MAYOR JANSON
And you think they’re coming here?
FRANK
We think they’re coming for Miami but Boca Raton could be a potential target for them.
MAYOR JANSON
And you have no idea who these people are?
FRANK
No. Miami is preparing for an attack. You and your people need to do the same.
MAYOR JANSON
That’s going to be difficult.
FRANK
What do you mean?
MAYOR JANSON
We’ve been having trouble lately. A small zombie horde came through here a few days ago. They got through a section of our gates. We lost a few people.
RJ
Why didn’t you ask us for help?
MAYOR JANSON
We wanted to handle it ourselves, we can’t always rely on Miami to bail us out.
FRANK
We’re here to help.
MAYOR JANSON
Thank you.
A man (White, 50) enters the command center.
MAYOR JANSON
Ah, gentlemen, this is my new head of security Freddy Dobson.
DION
What happened to the last one?
MAYOR JANSON
He was one of the ones we lost in the zombie attack. Freddy, Miami thinks that an attack is on the way.
FREDDY
Another horde?
FRANK
No. An army of some kind. They’ve already attacked five other cities.
FREDDY
We don’t have enough people to defend from something like that. We can barely hold off the zombies.
FRANK
That’s why we’re here. We’ll help you come up with some strategies and I’ll talk to Mayor Gao about sending some people over here.
FREDDY
Thanks. But we still need more fighters.
MAYOR JANSON
What about the Riders?
FRANK
The Riders?
FREDDY
There’s a large group of motorcycle riding raiders about fifty miles from here. Nasty people. They take what they want. We’ve been attacked by them a few times.
FRANK
And you think they will just agree to help you?
MAYOR JANSON
We’ve come to an agreement now. If their survival is at stake as well, they may be willing to listen.
FRANK
Dion and I will go check it out and see if they’ll join us. RJ, you stay here and help Freddy and his men set up defenses. Dion, let’s go.
EXT. BOCA RATON - DAY
Frank and DION get into the truck and drive out of Boca Raton. Frank is driving. As they drive, the sun begins setting until it is night.
INT. TRUCK - NIGHT
Frank is driving.
DION
I thought we were done with all this shit.
FRANK
So did I.
DION
What are we going to do if we can’t stop them? We rebuilt Miami and now to lose it...?
FRANK
We won’t lose it.
DION
What makes you so sure?
FRANK
Because I’ve learned that the only way to survive in this world is to believe in something. I believe in Miami and I refuse to let it fall.
Frank looks back towards the road and sees a pack of zombies on the road. Frank swerves the truck causing it to flip and roll over multiple times. The truck stops rolling and is now upside down. Frank and Dion are unconscious. Zombies begin to emerge onto the road and converge onto the truck.
Across America, the Genesis Army continues its invasion. They invade Dallas, Boulder, Pittsburgh, and Tulsa. They slaughter those that stand in their way. Many survivors surrender. Outside of the cities, the settlements fall. All over the world, the Genesis Army continues to advance.
