NBC has ordered family drama pilot Council of Dads to series. The pilot focused on Scott Perry, whose life is thrown into turmoil when he gets. a potentially-terminal diagnosis. Together with his wife, Scott assembles a group of friends to support his family and guide them through life's challenges. The pilot stars Sarah Wayne Callies, Clive Standen, and J. August Richards.
