Lopez and Throwing Shade Canceled by TV Land

TV Land has canceled comedy series Lopez after two seasons and late-night series Throwing Shade after one season.

Lopez, starring George Lopez playing a fictionalized version of himself, aired two seasons on the network, the second of which was broadcast last spring, concluding in June. Throwing Shade, a late-night comedy talk show, premiered on the network in January and concluded its first and only season in March.

This news comes shortly after it was announced that TV Land's Nobodies will be moving to Paramount Network (currently Spike, soon to be re-branded). Now, TV Land only has Teachers, currently airing its second season and renewed for a third, and Younger, which has been renewed for a fifth season, the two of which outrate the rest of their original programming.
