BBC America has handed another early renewal to Killing Eve, granting the acclaimed series a third season just a day after its second season premiere. The series, for which star Sandra Oh received an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe, was a solid performer for BBC America, which scores lower ratings than most cable networks. The series grew in popularity throughout its run, and ended its first season higher than it started it. The series is created by Fleabag star/creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and is based on the Codename Vilanelle novella series by Luke Jennings. Besides Oh's starring role as the titular Eve, the series also stars Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, and Kim Bodnia.
