Wynonna Earp Ending with Current Fourth Season

Wynonna Earp is reaching the end of her reign. Syfy's longest-running current season will end with its current fourth season, which is set to return for its second half on Friday, March 5, with the series finale airing April 9. This news comes after plans for a fifth season fell through, and after the show had previously been delayed due to financial troubles in producing the fourth season. Filming for the series has already wrapped after being delayed due of the coronavirus crisis. The series is a co-production between Syfy in the United States and the Canadian CTV Sci-Fi Channel. Melanie Scrofano, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Tim Rozon and Katherine Barrell star in the series, which was long noted for its devoted and passionate fanbase online. Wynonna Earp Renewed for Season 4

Comic-Con continues to bring good news to fans of comic book TV, as it was announced there today that Wynonna Earp has been renewed for a fourth season. The series just returned for season three earlier this week, with a special "preview" on Monday and the official premiere on Friday. The Monday preview drew a 0.09, slightly higher than the 0.08 for the season two finale. Melanie Scrofano, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, and Shamier Anderson star in the supernatural series, which focuses on the great-great-granddaughter of famed Wild West sheriff Wyatt Earp.

'Wynonna Earp' Renewed for Third Season

Syfy has renewed drama 'Wynonna Earp' for a third season. The series follows Wynonna Earp's return to her hometown to take on the role of demon protector. Melanie Scrofano stars as the signature character. Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozon, and Dominique Provost-Chalkley make up the rest of the cast. The series is currently in its second season and has aired 20 episodes as of July 22, 2017. The second season currently averages a 0.12 in the 18-49 demographic.
