Ratings Analysis: Fox led the way on Friday night as their Padres/Dodgers MLB game (1.77) dominated in the Adults 18-49 demographic. On CBS, a Big Brother clip show (0.26) was the top non-sports offering of the night. Reruns of The Summit (0.14) and Ghosts (0.12) followed. ABC aired a Latinos in Hollywood special (0.18) and a rising 20/20 (0.19, +0.02). Dateline (0.20, -0.05) declined on NBC. The CW's Joan (0.05, +0.02) was up in its move to Friday nights. Ratings Analysis: NBC's Dateline (0.35, +0.14) soared on Friday night, putting it well above ABC's 20/20 (0.21, +0.04) in the Adults 18-49 demographic. On CBS, The Greatest @HomeVideos (0.24) found itself in a tie with an encore of the Doctor Odyssey pilot (0.24). College football on Fox (0.38) topped broadcast. The CW aired original episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? (0.07/0.08) and Inside the NFL (0.03). Key: (R) = repeat.
Ratings Analysis: In its final Fox broadcast, WWE Smackdown (0.45, -0.08) slipped but maintained its lead. On NBC, the 2024 Paris Paralympics (0.16) remained a poor performer, dropping once more from its America's Got Talent repeat lead-in (0.23). ABC's 20/20 (0.26) built significantly on the repeat of Shark Tank (0.18) that led into it. Let's Make a Deal Primetime (0.21, +0.01) inched up on CBS, but Lingo (0.15, -0.04) declined.
