Ratings Analysis: ABC's American Idol (0.45) was a tenth below last year's premiere (0.55) in the Adults 18-49 demographic, but the singing-competition staple was still the highest-rated non-sports broadcast on Sunday night. After Idol, The $100,000 Pyramid (0.24) made its return in middling fashion. Earlier in the night, America's Funniest Home Videos (0.43, +0.24) barreled past its last original. On ABC, Celebrity Family Feud (0.45) was even with its September finale (0.45) and beat all non-Survivor competitors. Celebrity Wheel (0.36, +0.05) and Pyramid (0.27, +0.05) both grew by half of one-tenth. Fox game show Snake Oil (0.24, -0.02) dipped on finale night, even as The Masked Singer (0.39, +0.01) got back a hundredth at 8. Quantum Leap (0.25, -0.01) shed a hundredth on NBC, while Magnum P.I. (0.21, 0.00) tied last week's low. The dynamic was similar on the CW as Sullivan's Crossing (0.03, -0.01) lost a hundredth for its finale, while The Spencer Sisters (0.03, 0.00) held even for its closer

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary rounded rating.
