After being taken off the schedule in February, canceled drama Brilliant Minds (0.19, +0.07) was back to air its last few episodes on NBC. The series managed to set a new season high in its return, but it fell behind a repeat of The Greatest Average American (0.21) on ABC. Hollywood Squares (0.20, +0.07) also took advantage of the earlier placement, rising significantly for its CBS season finale. NBC dramas Chicago Med (0.38, 0.00) and Chicago Fire (0.35, 0.00) were both stable on Wednesday night, but Chicago PD (0.28, +0.02) gained momentum. On CBS, Survivor (0.91, +0.02) was up from last week, but America's Culinary Cup (0.21, -0.03) slipped. Later, Hollywood Squares (0.13, +0.01) improved slightly. MasterChef (0.19, -0.01) dipped on Fox, but The Floor (0.24, +0.03) still pulled off some growth. Police 24/7 (0.05, -0.01) inched down on the CW. Key: (R) = repeat.

Wednesday TV Ratings 4/15/26: MasterChef Up from Season 15 Premiere, Survivor Rises Above 1.0 for First Time in Five Years, Scrubs Ties Low for Finale [+ Analysis]

It was a monumental night for CBS as Survivor (1.04, +0.12) rose enough to put a one before the decimal point, a rarity in the modern television landscape. But despite that growth, America's Culinary Cup (0.26, -0.02) actually declined. Hollywood Squares (0.14, +0.04), meanwhile, rose. Over on ABC, Scrubs (0.39, -0.03) slipped for its finale. Abbott Elementary (0.36, -0.03) and The Greatest Average American (0.17, -0.06) were also down, but Shark Tank (0.18, +0.02) bucked the trend. NBC went with repeats of Chicago Med (0.20), Chicago Fire (0.22), and Chicago PD (0.19). The Floor (0.21, -0.05) had quite a fall on Fox, but it was still a notch above the season premiere of MasterChef (0.20). Key: (P) = premiere. Wednesday TV Ratings 3/18/26: Abbott Elementary, Scrubs and Chicago PD Recover from Previous Losses, Survivor Jumps to Highest Rating Since 2021, The Greatest Average American Slides [+ Analysis]

Wednesday was a night of recovery for the ABC comedies as both Scrubs (0.44, +0.05) and Abbott Elementary (0.38, +0.04) were up from last week. But the good will did not transfer to The Greatest Average American (0.18, -0.07) or Shark Tank (0.15, -0.08), as both shows dealt with some serious declines. CBS's Survivor (0.96, +0.09) soared, and America's Culinary Cup (0.30, +0.06) also rose, but Hollywood Squares (0.15, +0.01) was barely up. NBC's Chicago Med (0.31, -0.01) dipped, Chicago Fire (0.38, +0.03) climbed higher, and Chicago PD (0.34, +0.10) recovered substantially. The Masked Singer (0.31, +0.05) and Fear Factor: House of Fear (0.22, +0.03) rose on Fox. Police 24/7 (0.08, +0.04) doubled on the CW. Key: (R) = repeat.

Wednesday TV Ratings 3/11/26: Survivor 50 Drops but Still More Than Doubles Closest Competition, Scrubs and Abbott Elementary Also Decline, Hollywood Squares Low in New Time Slot [+ Analysis]

Survivor (0.87, -0.07) cooled down on Wednesday night, and America's Culinary Cup (0.24, -0.05) also declined. Later, CBS aired Hollywood Squares (0.14) and got a low rating out of the game show staple. On ABC, Scrubs (0.39, -0.10) could not stop the bleeding, and Abbott Elementary (0.34, -0.06) also lost some ground. The Greatest Average American (0.25, -0.03) and Shark Tank (0.23, -0.02) were down by less than the comedies. Chicago Med (0.32, -0.09) and Chicago Fire (0.35, -0.08) declined sharply on NBC, while Chicago PD (0.24, -0.15) completely fell apart. The Masked Singer (0.26, -0.04) and Fear Factor: House of Fear (0.19, -0.01) slipped on Fox. Police 24/7 (0.04, 0.00) held steady on the CW. Sunday TV Ratings 2/22/26: Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony Down from 2022, American Dad! Solid in Fox Return, Universal Basic Guys Crumbles [+ Analysis]

The closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics (0.74) dealt with a 22% drop from 2022 (0.95) on NBC, even with an NBA lead-in (0.97). On Fox, Family Guy (0.24, -0.02) dipped slightly from its week-ago premiere, while Universal Basic Guys (0.13, -0.06) crashed to a new series low. At nine, American Dad! (0.21) had a relatively solid return to Fox, building markedly from Basic Guys. Later, a second Family Guy (0.24, 0.00) matched the one that aired at eight. 60 Minutes (0.33, +0.05) climbed higher on CBS, but Hollywood Squares (0.14) struggled. ABC aired some strong repeats of America's Funniest Home Videos (0.43/0.35). Remember the Titans (0.12) performed remarkably well by CW standards. Key: (P) = premiere. (R) = repeat.

It was time to light the lights on Wednesday night as The Muppet Show (0.52) returned for a new installment for the first time in decades. The ABC showing of the special was the highest-rated broadcast of the evening in the Adults 18-49 demographic, rising by a tenth from an already strong Abbott Elementary (0.42, +0.02). Earlier in the night, Shifting Gears (0.39, +0.03) enjoyed a nice finale uptick. On CBS, The Price Is Right At Night (0.39, +0.08) surged, but Hollywood Squares (0.20, -0.07) plummeted. Chicago Med (0.36, +0.05), Chicago Fire (0.34, +0.09), and Chicago PD (0.28, +0.06) all soared on NBC. Fox's The Masked Singer (0.20, -0.14) and Fear Factor: House of Fear (0.19, -0.07) were pushed to later slots and collapsed as a result. Police 24/7 (0.04, 0.00) was stable on the CW. Key: (R) = repeat. Chicago Med (0.31, -0.02), Chicago Fire (0.25, -0.05), and Chicago PD (0.22, -0.03) could not stop the bleeding on NBC, as all three programs were down for a second week in a row. ABC comedy Shifting Gears (0.36, -0.02) also slipped, but Abbott Elementary (0.40, +0.06) had a shocking surge. Later, Dirty Talk (0.18, +0.01) ticked up for its finale, and Shark Tank (0.15, +0.02) also rose. On CBS, The Price Is Right At Night (0.31, +0.10) gained a full tenth in its move to eight, and Hollywood Squares (0.27, +0.09) also rose dramatically in its new time slot. The Masked Singer (0.34, 0.00) and Fear Factor: House of Fear (0.26, 0.00) were both steady on Fox, as was the CW's Police 24/7 (0.04, 0.00). Fox brought Fear Factor: House of Fear (0.26, -1.34) to its official time slot, and it evidently shed much of its NFL-inflated premiere rating, but it began at a respectable level nonetheless. Earlier in the night, The Masked Singer (0.34, +0.05) bounced back. On ABC, Shifting Gears (0.38, -0.07), Abbott Elementary (0.34, -0.09), and Dirty Talk (0.17, -0.08) all dealt with serious declines, but Shark Tank (0.13, +0.01) actually gained a tick. Chicago Med (0.33, -0.01) and Chicago Fire (0.30, -0.01) shed a hundredth apiece on NBC, while Chicago PD (0.25, -0.03) had a slightly larger drop. CBS's Hollywood Squares (0.18, -0.07) and The Price Is Right At Night (0.21, -0.09) plummeted. The CW aired Police 24/7 (0.04) and Katie Pavlich Tonight (0.02). Key: (R) = repeat.
