Monday TV Ratings 9/14/26: Emmys Sink More Than a Third from 2025, Name That Tune Low for Final Season Five Episodes, Halloween Baking Championship Returns Steady [+ Analysis]
Though overshadowed by NFL on ABC (2.86), the Emmy Awards (0.8) brought in a decent amount of attention on NBC. However, there was a steep 38% decline from 2025 (1.28) in the key demographic. On Fox, Name That Tune (0.17/0.14) returned to air two episodes, while CBS aired repeats of dramas FBI (0.18/0.13) and CIA (0.07). All American (0.04, -0.02) dropped again on the CW. Monday TV Ratings 2/16/26: Winter Olympics Drop Again, American Idol Also Down, The Rookie and Extracted Rise [+ Analysis]
The Winter Olympics (1.24, -0.33) was back down on NBC, and American Idol (0.41, -0.02) also slipped on ABC, but The Rookie (0.22, +0.03) rose at ten. Extracted (0.22, +0.07) surged on Fox. The CW aired Wild Cards (0.06) and a repeat of Sullivan's Crossing (0.02). CBS aired repeats of Survivor (0.14) and FBI (0.14). Key: (R) = repeat.
Monday TV Ratings 1/12/26: St. Denis Medical Slides to Season Low, Texans/Steelers NFL Playoff Game Dominates, Brilliant Minds Hits New Series Low [+ Analysis]
Just one week after it rose to a new season high, NBC comedy St. Denis Medical (0.24, -0.13) came crashing down, now at a tie with its previously set season low! The Wall (0.12, -0.07) also took a sizable step down, and Brilliant Minds (0.10, -0.01) dropped to a new series low at ten. The NBC declines could potentially be blamed on ABC's dominance, as the latter aired a mammoth NFL playoffs game (2.84). CBS aired repeats of The Neighborhood (0.17), DMV (0.15), FBI (0.14), and NCIS: Origins (0.12). Fox aired reruns of Best Medicine (0.14) and Doc (0.07). The CW matched the Doc rerun in the demo with an 8 p.m. encore of Penn & Teller: Fool Us (0.07). Key: (R) = repeat.
