Station 19 Canceled Ahead of Seventh Season
Station 19 Renewed by ABC
ABC's renewals continue to pour in, this time announcing a seventh season pickup of Grey's Anatomy spinoff Station 19. The series currently ranks as the Alphabet Network's #1 drama, with a 0.47 average in the key 18-49 demo. It is also the network's #3 scripted program overall, only behind comedies The Conners and Abbott Elementary. Station 19 debuted in 2018 as the second spinoff of Grey's Anatomy and has become a valuable player for the network after a shaky start, notably strengthening following a move to 8 PM. This season it surpassed its parent series in the 18-49 live+same-day demo, after multiple seasons as ABC's #2 drama. The pickup is the fourth renewal by ABC overall this week and the sixth overall this season. Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Boris Kodjoe and Stefania Spampinato lead the cast of the series, which will surpass 100 episodes in its just-ordered seventh season. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
Station 19 Renewed For Fifth Season by ABC
The firefighters of Station 19 will be back to keep Seattle safe in the 2021-22 season. ABC has ordered a fifth season of the Grey's Anatomy spinoff. Though it started out disappointingly in the ratings department, the show has gone on to be one of ABC's strongest shows, and is their second highest-rated scripted series with a 0.87 average. Jaina Lee Ortiz, Boris Kodjoe, Jason George, Grey Damon, Okieriete Onaodowan and Danielle Savre star in the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
